Experience the beauty of the night sky at Sully Woodlands from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Learn about the constellations, the visible planets and meteors around a campfire. S’mores will be provided. Springfield Days and Movie in the Park

From 2 to 8 p.m. enjoy an afternoon full of family fun activities as nature centers and historic sites showcase the community’s abundant natural and cultural resources with costumed interpreters, historic children’s games, nature walks and talks, and a meet and greet with farm animals at South Run RECenter. Enjoy ice cream and fair food and tour the park on a tractor-pulled wagon ride. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs for an outdoor showing of the animated film Fantastic Mr. Fox beginning at dark. Grain Grinding Demonstration
