More than 100 vendors bring their wares to this annual fest. Shabby-chic housewares, vintage furniture, gilded mirrors and groovy artwork are just a few of the finds. Live music lends a festive atmosphere. In connection with the sale, many nearby antique shops draw crowds of eager shoppers, as does the organizer, the Old Lucketts Store. The large number of vendors, both at the sale and at nearby stores along the same road, make it an ideal daytrip for browsers and an efficient one-stop for furniture hunters. She will trace the history of this early form of portraiture and demonstrate her own freehand cutting, transforming a piece of black paper into an exact likeness of a subject’s profile.
