Take part in a tournament for golfers seven years and up from 8 a.m. until noon at Burke Lake Golf Course. Teams of two compete in an 18-hole scramble format in three divisions: Father and Jr. aged 7 to 12; Father and Jr. aged 13 to 17; and Father with adult partner. Twin Lakes Golf Course hosts a special tournament where each team of two must include a golfer with a disability. Registration begins at 11 a.m. on Friday.; shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Registration begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday; shotgun start at 9 a.m. This tournament is the only one of its kind in the D.C. Metro area. Competitors will play the Oaks Course (18 holes, par 71) the first day and the Lakes Course (18 holes, par 72) the second. Friday includes box lunch and closet-to-the-hole and longest drive contests. Saturday features continental breakfast, closest-to-the-hole and longest drive contests, awards, door prizes and buffet luncheon. There will be two flights; 1st, 2nd and 3rd place team prizes.
